LinQuest is seeking a talented Systems Modeling Engineer to join our team in Beavercreek, OH. US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Federal Security clearance is required.
As a Systems Modeling Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by leveraging your knowledge of Cameo, SparxEA or Rhapsody to contribute to cutting-edge projects. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and enhancement of complex systems using these tools, ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your experience in Cameo to create and maintain detailed system architectures and models.
- Work within a team of analysts and data engineers to import/export data from Cameo, streamlining processes and improving management and access to data contained within MBSE tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex system requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with SysML standards and best practices.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to gather and refine system modeling requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Cameo and SysML 2.0 techniques.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Cameo for system modeling.
- Proficiency in SysML and related tools.
- Strong scripting skills for data import/export from Cameo.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and address complex challenges.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software applications.
- US Citizenship
- DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Well-practiced capability using SysML or UML for systems development and experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo, SparxEA, Rhapsody, etc.
- Knowledge of digital engineering initiatives within the DoD.
- Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts
- Familiarity with MBSE integration with MS&A toolsets like MATLAB/Simulink.
- Previous involvement in Digital Engineering transformation initiatives.
- 5 years or more of experience with SysML or UML.
- Experience executing conceptual design and complex modeling, simulation, and analysis.
