We are hiring for a great technical opportunity for a Systems Integrator - Top Secret clearance to work onsite for our Springfield, VA location. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
The Systems Integrator (SI) leads multi-disciplinary projects and activities within the Activity's IT Operations Integration office. Reporting to the Operations Integration Lead (OIL), the SI identifies and resolves operational issues and problems, streamlines overarching processes, and delivers solutions to the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyzing complex technical and functional IT issues, providing recommendations, and implementing solutions to resolve concerns in accordance with applicable OCIO governance processes.
Defining, implementing, and maintaining IT service and operational management programs to facilitate comprehensive and controlled oversight of activities within the Operations portfolio (i.e., lifecycle management, asset management, problem management, data center management, etc.).
Leading and participating in multidisciplinary project teams, tiger teams, and working groups focused on new or improved technological solutions.
Identifying opportunitiies for operational improvements, maintaining a backlog of follow-on activities, developing courses of action, and executing solutions.
Delivering and presenting briefings, statuses, schedules, and progress to Governance boards and Senior leadership.
Baselining, tracking, and reporting on metrics that demonstrate the progress and impact of ongoing IT operations initatives.
Developing and maintaining formal documentation for technical and functional technologies and processes (i.e., SOPs, charters, policies, workflows, manuals, CONOPs, RACIs, SLAs, etc.).
Participating in engagements with partners, suppliers, key stakeholders, and end users to support the seamless provisioning of products and services.
Performing delegated duties when designated by the Operations Integration Lead.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
+ + Experience:
5 or more years of progressive, hands-on experience administering or engineering security enterprise information systems in one or more of the following areas: endpoints, networks, servers, virtualization, storage, cybersecurity, cloud, or ITSM.
Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in the following areas:
Developing solutions and leading implementations to resolve complex technical issues across a globally disbursed enterprise environment.
Gathering and validating IT requirements, conducting analyses of IT systems, delivering solutions, and using metrics to measure impact to identify areas of concern and improvement opportunities.
Implementing enterprise programs that address common operational processes, such as lifecycle management, asset management, problem management, etc.
Excellent written, verbal, communication, presentation, and training skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences, as well as senior-level executives.
Skilled in writing professional, routing technical correspondence and documentation, such as standard operating procedures, topology charts, reports, presentations, and design documents.
CSWF: Shall meet the Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Technical Support Specialist; Intermediate Level for SECNAV M-5239.2 compliance. (See Navy Cool Website).
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from accredited University; or the following experience and/or certifications; or
Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ ce; or
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+); or
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); or
GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC); or
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Desired Qualifications :
8 or more years leading enterprise-level IT projects and/or teams
Advanced certification in a technical profession (i.e., MCSE, CISSP, ITIL, PMP, etc.)
Working knowledge of all aspects of enterprise-grade IT systems across the stack: physical, networking, storage, virtualization, servers, applications, services, and cybersecurity
Familiarity with the Project Management Framework, IT Governance, Software Development Lifecycle, DevOps, and/or ITIL
Additional Requirements :
The position requires to be onsite due to the classified nature/location of the program with core business hours, parking, and etc.
Security Clearance: This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
