Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Entry-level Systems (Hardware) Engineer. In this role, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance support across multiple external interfaces over a robust multi-tiered network, participate in fault isolation, and perform real-time manual actions to restore system capabilities. The successful candidate will have experience and/or basic knowledge of high speed networks and/or IT systems. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

24x7 Hardware and Maintenance Shift team position supporting the operations and maintenance of a large scale RF Communication site across multiple systems with varying degrees of interaction.
Position requires a 2yr commitment on site beginning upon initial relocation. Selectee will possibly perform pre-deployment training and preparation at several Washington, DC area LM programs. Personnel selected for this position will be on a rotating shift schedule to meet customer monitoring requirements. Opportunities include qualifying as a Shift Team Lead and a path to a Hardware and Maintenance day staff position.
Strict adherence to all applicable administrative, safety and security policies is required. Candidate's will be required to initially work a standard schedule and perform 24x7 shiftwork as part of training and readiness. Ultimately candidate will be assigned to a 24x7 rotating position. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Performance of maintenance activities will include climbing multiple sets of stairs, lifting/carrying up to 50lbs, and working in non-environment-controlled workspaces.
Basic Qualifications
• Work, Classroom, or hobby experience with high-speed networks and/or IT systems
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain security clearance with a polygraph prior to start
• Must be able to travel to an OCONUS overseas site
• Experience with MS Office Products, Windows-based operating systems, and applications
Desired skills
• Technical experience with varied test equipment to include built-in test equipment, oscilloscopes, spectrum/link/network analyzers, power meters and signal generation equipment
• Knowledge of network management, TCP/ICP, Cisco IOS, VMware, scripting, and Microsoft software products
• IAT Level I or higher certification: A+, Network+, Security+, etc.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proactive and positive team player with ability to effectively work closely with co-contractor teammates at multiple levels
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline such as Systems, Radio Frequency (RF), Mechanical or Software Engineering

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $55,300 - $106,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
