Systems Engineer, Junior

Primary Location: Quantico, VA

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Systems Engineer, Junior to oversee engineering activities of the organization's information systems. Responsibilities include coordination with the System Engineering team lead in the design, evaluation, test and integration of new and existing computer network systems and services, to include software evaluation and integration as well as Operating System Development and deployment, design of hardware and software.

• IAT Level II CyberSecurity Workforce DoD 8570.01.
• Experience with C2 systems integration and design and implementation.
• Experience in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). i.e., System updates, System imaging, deploying software.
• Experience in Active Directory and Microsoft Server 2019 environments.
• Experience with troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent w/ 3+ Years Direct Relevant Experience
• Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) level operational military experience in design to support exercises.
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills to directly support exercise specific applications.
• Strong time management and be eager to start and finish new tasks.
• Hands on experience troubleshooting user devices, i.e., Computers and VTC equipment
• Current Microsoft OS Certification.

Travel

• 10-15%, mainly to Camp Pendleton, CA; Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan
