Systems Analyst Senior

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote & office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

Preferred Location: Indianapolis, IN

The Systems Analyst Senior is responsible for handling both systems and business requirements for the Next Generation Desktop (NGD) platform. Specifically focusing on contact center application delivery. System work will involve managing the requirements around data channels that the platform both sends and receives on. The business requirement portion will focus on the enhancements to the platform that affect both the User Interface and the potentially changing data requirements for screens and transmissions.

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.
  • Creates feature test strategies and environment needs.
  • Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
  • Applies and mentors use of tools to define requirements.  
  • Anticipates and identifies opportunities for improvement.  
  • Ensures high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements.
  • Assists in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3  years experience with documenting requirements and/or building test cases for a variety of technologies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • This position is part of our FGS (Federal Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities & Experiences:

  • Strong working knowledge in the use of these tools: Confluence, Zephyr, Jira and Yogi is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology is highly preferred (Agile certification is a plus).
  • Knowledge of the Medicare insurance program and shared systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of documenting requirements to hand off to developers and testers is preferred.
  • Experience testing/product quality processes tools and methods strongly preferred.  
  • Project management experience and training in facilitation strongly preferred.
