POSITION OVERVIEW
Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Epic Resolute Professional Billing Claims certified specialist experienced in working with Revenue Cycle operations teams and end users within organization and other outside parties as necessary to trouble shoot build issues, operational issues and other technical issues. This person is responsible to configure, test and deploy the Epic software according to decisions made by operational and technical SMEs. Participate in initiatives by gathering and analyzing information, preparing structured documentation, and presentations of findings and general troubleshooting, as necessary. Complete assigned team tasks as documented in the work plan. Report status of task completion to assigned Team Lead. Provide timely alerts about endangered milestones and deliverables.
Essential Duties

• Provide top-tier technical support to end users in a fast-paced, high-volume cancer hospital setting
• Independently manage and resolve a wide variety of hardware, software, and system issues
• Prioritize and complete problem tickets efficiently to minimize user downtime
• Proactively engage with clinical and administrative end users to understand needs and deliver rapid solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and operational teams to implement process improvements
• Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and user interactions in ticketing system

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent; Experience may substitute for minimum education requirement
• 7+ years healthcare experience in a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst role
• Certification in Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Epic Professional Billing Claims is a must
• Additional certifications in Epic Benefits Engine Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Remittances or HB Reimbursement Contracts or Revenue Integrity are preferred
• Candidate must have had prior build experience for at least 7 years
• Previous experience in the design, planning and implementation of billing information systems preferred
• Healthcare experience in other acute care settings preferred as well
