Requirements
- The systems administrator is responsible for deploying a variety of network infrastructure equipment, working with telecommunications carriers, provisioning connectivity into client offices, and generating, updating, and maintaining documentation and network diagrams.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Strict adherence to all security related guidelines is crucial to this position.
- At least 5 years’ experience installing/ implementing networks
- Solid oral and written communication skills that can be adapted to both the technical, and administrator level.
- At least 3 years’ experience implementing and troubleshooting IPSec and GRE tunnels
- Solid understanding of operation of VoIP and video collaboration services and protocols
- At least 3 years’ experience producing technical drawings with Microsoft Visio
- A high school degree, or a GED, and more than fifteen (15) years of relevant system administration and five (5) years of experience installing patches, performing system updates, managing server and storage processing strategies and providing a wide range of system administration functions, OR
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant system administration, and three (3) years of experience installing patches, performing system updates, managing server and storage processing strategies and providing a wide range of system administration functions, OR
- A master's degree in a relevant field and seven (7) years of relevant system administration and experience installing patches, performing system updates, managing server and storage processing strategies and providing a wide range of system administration functions.
- * Must adhere to 8570.01M CWF Requirements (CompTia Sec+ or Similar)
- Experience with Cisco Voice-over-IP (VoIP) solutions, including Cisco Call Manager Express OR Cisco Unity Express
- CCNA-Enterprise
