This role is designated hybrid, and candidates must be within a commutable distance of our Irvine, CA office. This role is exempt salary and pays $85,000-$110,000 annually, dependent on experience. This role is open to candidates who do not require visa sponsorship.
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator with strong troubleshooting and automation skills who will join our devops+ops team to make it stronger.

As a member of the team, successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• initial diagnostic in case of incidents
• administration of cloud servers and services
• working with CI/CD pipelines
• keeping infrastructure-related documentation up to date
• developing backup, monitoring, scaling and fault-tolerance strategies
• implementing best practices in general

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience w/ GNU/Linux in production environment(s)
• 2+ years of POSIX shell scripting
• 2+ years of experience w/ MySQL/MariaDB/Percona w/ Galera cluster (multi-master configuration)
• 2+ years of experience w/ containers (i.e. Docker)
• 1+ years of experience w/ Ansible & Terraform
• 1+ years of using git
• Basic networking
• Understanding of IaC approaches (both imperative & declarative)

WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE:

• Advanced networking (load-balancing, bgp/ospf/ipsec)
• Experience w/ AWS and/or Azure
• Experience w/ managed Kubernetes & Istio
• Experience w/ Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
• Fine-tuning of Cloudflare WAF
