Job Summary

Install, administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and document AD/computer related management services (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune), application blacklists, update 3rd party software, etc.

Job Duties

• Install, administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and document AD/computer related management services (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune), application blacklists, update 3rd party software, etc.

• Maintain and support the college’s operating system installations utilizing MECM/SCCM and Intune to deploy images and software applications for wide-scale installation and distribution.

• Install, administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and document Active Directory Services (maintaining architecture, group policies, accounts, and security groups, desktop patching and deployment).

• Create shell scripts (bash, PowerShell, PHP) to provide task automation and schedule tasks such as account provisioning and deprovisioning (netlogon), notification of password expiration, creating mailboxes on‐premise and Office 365, and manipulating Active Directory (such as moving large numbers of users between groups given a common characteristic and synchronizing AD with Banner). Scripts for login/logoff logging, system timeout, access to printers and file shares, antivirus and anti‐spam software using MECM/SCCM.

• Provide advanced technical support for workstation hardware and software issues and support for database development, network connectivity issues, server operating system and configuration issues, and other support issues as they may arise.

• Assist and backup Assistant Director of NTTS.

• Assist students and staff with various technical issues as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field and 10 years’ experience in the IT field working with the software and hardware below:
• Experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems, such as Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019.
• Experience managing and supporting Active Directory (2012/2016), GPOs, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM).
• Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Intune MDM.
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell and PHP scripting.
