About the Role: KUB is seeking a System Administrator to serve in the operational technology (OT) SCADA environment. This role involves overseeing and maintaining critical infrastructure tailored to SCADA operations. Responsibilities include system monitoring, troubleshooting, server configuration and management, patching, testing, backup, and recovery, and change
management. Collaboration with internal teams, external consultants, and vendors is essential, and flexibility for rotating On-Call duties and occasional after-hours or weekend work is required.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience or working knowledge of server hardware and operating systems (Red Hat Linux, Windows, etc.)
- Experience with or ability to learn how to monitor systems and respond accordingly when issues arise
- Experience with or ability to learn scripting for task automation, system monitoring, etc.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate successfully with others
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Technical certificate or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Two (2) years of experience in systems administration - installation, configuration, patching, support, and management of servers
- Understanding of related aspects such as database administration and cybersecurity
- Experience with SCADA systems administration and control platforms
- Understanding of cloud computing environments, particularly Azure
- Experience reading and understanding programming logic and schematic diagrams
