System Test Engineer - Fms Datalink (Remote)

JOB TITLE: System Test Engineer – FMS Datalink (Remote)

ABOUT THE JOB:

This position is responsible for system/software verification of the Datalink function for a Flight Management System (FMS) in a commercial aircraft application.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Embedded Avionics System Test experience
• System Test Case Development experience
• Automated System Test Procedure Development experience
• Visual Basic scripting language experience
• Excellent communication skills with a positive client-facing demeanor
• Ability to quickly grasp new processes and tasks
• Strong self-motivation and initiative
• Strong accountability and task ownership
• Team-driven mentality
• Willingness to provide assistance to other team members to resolve issues/roadblocks
• Experience working with remote team members

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• FMS experience (highly preferred)
• FMS Datalink and/or ACARS experience
• AOC or ATC message familiarity
• System Requirements development and management experience
• Ada coding language experience
• ARP-4754A and DO-178B/C lifecycle familiarity
• Experience using DOORS requirements and test case documentation tool
• Experience with Git software configuration tool
