Position Summary:
The Cadence and Prelude (scheduling and registrations) Epic Analyst is the primary validation, build/support contact and coordinates all questions and issues that arise during the project/support phase for the Epic application team. Responsible for the validation, design, build, testing and implementation of Epic tools. Understands the scope, schedule, and quality of the projects. Understands and follows the detailed work plans. Demonstrates competency of an application systems analyst and implementation activities, including in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of vendor software. Identifies issues that impact deadlines and quality of project and escalates to the Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in projects in all aspects of information systems implementation (planning, build, test, train, implement, change management, and production support).
- Supporting contact for the application
- Serving as a bridge between end users and the Epic implementation staff
- Helping Epic staff to better understand Catholic Health’s operational needs and to support validation of workflows and model system configuration
- Coordinating all issues that arise for their application area
- Participates in all aspects of information systems implementation (planning, build, test, train, implement, production support).
- Adhering to standards for naming and numbering conventions and security classifications.
- Understanding choices in application specifications and prepares details of specifications as needed.
- Investigating the preferred choices of the users.
- Developing and documenting internal procedures.
- Collaborate with team and vendor to create and execute implementation plans.
- Ability to assist clinical staff in articulating and documenting processes and issues.
- Facilitate team in identifying and resolving system issues which have an enterprise-wide impact on the project
- Become knowledgeable in the organizational processes, policies, procedures and business operations as they relate to the project.
- Actively participate in live and post-live support. This will include training, issues management; follow up communication, application changes, etc. This requires availability to work all shifts during Go Live.
- Ability to leads application team meetings as needed
- Willing to participate in leadership project meetings.
- Ability to facilitate accurate communication between all involved parties.
- Guarantees efficient and effective completion of project assignments in accordance with standard procedures
- Assists facilities in meeting dynamic regulatory requirements.
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
- Works independently, across functional areas and hierarchical levels
- Accurate and timely recording of time against tasks assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Working knowledge of medical office and operational workflows is preferred.
- Epic Cadence, Prelude, Access, Referrals or other certifications preferred; or will be required within 6 months of hire.
- Proficient in Microsoft office. Knowledge of Agile, Click Up is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage to deadlines, changing priorities.
- Strong project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan).
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Independent and self-motivated, energetic with strong desire to learn.
- Environment is subject to high-level visibility through verbal and written communications with senior hospital management, associated project deadlines.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality of material and information.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and meet goals of timeliness and quality.
Salary Range
USD $105,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
