The Systems Administrator-Staff position performs administration and provides operational support for corporate systems including hardware and OS system availability, performance tuning, installation, security, and troubleshooting. Staff-level professional experienced in all aspects of systems administration. Encompasses full knowledge required within the systems specialty area. Functions independently with minimal oversight and direction. May instruct and guide other technical professionals.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Systems. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.

Four years equivalent technical experience in systems administration or related technical field.

Three years of systems experience.

Demonstrated working technical knowledge of systems administration (hardware, protocols, standards, hands on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring tools).

Business process and reengineering experience, as well as an understanding of the relationship between processes and policies.

Demonstrated experience solving server/operating system problems that reduce impact to customers/end-users.
