SalaryL.B. Foster Company (Dublin, OH) to be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining production servers, and infrastructure servers and communications infrastructure; managing day-to-day issue resolution; maintaining production scripts; monitoring software and assisting engineers in updating production servers; serving as the first line of contact for server support; assisting with the planning, setup, maintenance, and reactive issue resolution of solutions within Azure infrastructure; overseeing setup, maintenance, and support of physical and VMWare virtual servers, networking infrastructure, VPNs to customer networks, and monitoring solutions for IT infrastructure; leading the planning, setup and support of cloud services and internal applications, including Atlassian products, open-source applications, and Azure or similar cloud services; researching and selecting equipment and working closely with key equipment and services vendors; supporting customers when they are affected by IT issues; playing a primary role in IT planning; administering Linux, Windows, Cisco, and Juniper Networks systems; planning and configuring ticketing software using ITIL standards; planning and leading cloud migration projects; assisting in the development of software and Web applications using programming languages; assisting in database configuration and deployment; managing and planning data center operations and support; and assisting European operations as required with system management of customer facing systems. Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. Must have two (2) years of previous work experience in the position offered or related with VMWare; networking, such as router administration, SSH, switches, and firewalls; Linux in a server environment; scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell; programming languages such as Java and JavaScript; databases such as SQL, MySQL; and Windows in a client and server environments.
