Job description

DESCRIPTION
Are you passionate about education? Do you believe that learning should be personal and that every student deserves a quality education? So do we!
The Sylvan Learning Tutor is responsible for creating a positive personal learning experience for students by teaching students according to the design of the Sylvan programs. Using the program materials, the teacher creates balanced and robust learning experiences for students. The Sylvan Learning Tutor evaluates student progress on each assignment, communicates this progress, and works with Center staff to ensure learning is personal for each student.
BENEFITS OF WORKING AT SYLVAN
  • No lesson planning or prep. Arrive 15 minutes before your first session and leave when your students are done. No grading to take home.
  • Flexible hours and consistent weekly scheduling. You tell us when you are available.
