- Schedule: Full Time Shifts are 8 hours in length, starting between 9am-10:30am. Weekend rotations are every other weekend and include evening shifts of 2pm-10:30pm, day shifts of 6am-2:30pm or 11am-7:30pm. All operators are required to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday per calendar year. Shifts may be changed due to departmental need and future call volumes.

ResponsibilitiesOperate the organization's telecommunication system to answer and route incoming calls and to communicate codes, alerts, drills and other announcements.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and relay internal and external calls and provide general information according to protocol.
- Maintain desk directories, on-call list, reference guides and other associated reference materials.
- Operate beeper and paging system to contact personnel and code team.
- Communicate codes, alerts, drills and other announcements according to established policies and protocols, including disaster management plans.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
