DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker is actively seeking a Survey Technician for our Field Services Team out of our Ridgeland, MS office, the Survey Technician will assist in planning, organizing, and collection of survey data.
- Perform field work, using specific guidelines, to collect and gather survey data
- Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys
- Develop new data from photogrammetric records
- Follow methods and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control
- Keep accurate notes and records to describe work performed
- Some travel may be required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in survey related degree preferred or High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $19 to $25 per hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
