Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate surgical schedule
- Use Vision scheduling systems to schedule appointments
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, employees, physicians and their staff
- Handle incoming calls to address patient inquiries
- Collaborate with clinical staff staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient scheduling
Skills:
- Experience working in a medical office preferred, but not necessary
- Proficiency in using computer
-Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle incoming calls professionally
- Know when to ask questions
- Perform Insurance Verification
- Ability to understand how insurance works and be able to relay the information
- Work as part of a team as well as independently
- Extensive training for the right candidate
