Compensation:

• Base Pay Rate: $35.00/hr.- $ 40.00/hr.
• Overtime: 1.5% for 40+ hours in a week
• Charge Nurse: Additional $5.00
• On-Call: $5.00
• Call Back: 1.5%
• Holiday Pay: 1.5%

Job Description:

• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• Requirements: Colorado DORA and BLS certification required
• Schedule: You'll work day shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call rotations in evenings and weekends.
• Operating Rooms: There are three operating rooms, but only one is in use at a time due to one nurse anesthetist.
• Types of Cases: You will assist in various surgical procedures including C-sections, tubal ligations, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, laparoscopic appendectomies, open hernia repairs, hemorrhoidectomies, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical team during procedures
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and instruments
• Ensure sterile field is maintained throughout surgeries
• Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures
• Maintain and clean surgical equipment
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)
• Active Colorado DORA license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience
