Surgical Coding Specialist HIM Coding

Job Summary
The Surgical Coder is responsible for performing the primary coding for surgery and procedures following correct ICD-10/ CPT and/or HCPCS coding guidance.
This includes complex procedural and Surgical Coding for multiple surgical specialties. Provides technical guidance to surgical providers and departmental staff
to maintain code assignment accuracy and compliance based on approved coding guidelines. This coder works collaboratively with surgeons to ensure the
accuracy of the code sets on the surgical case.
Must have Surgical Coding experience
Required Coding Certification: CCS or CPC required for this position
Full Time Position 7:30am-4pm Monday - Friday
