Surgery Scheduler

Duties:
- Schedule surgeries and procedures for patients
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper scheduling and preparation for surgeries
- Use phone systems and electronic scheduling software to manage appointments and communicate with patients
- Provide information to patients regarding pre-operative instructions, including fasting requirements and medication restrictions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of scheduled surgeries and procedures

Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with surgery scheduling processes and protocols
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Note: Experience with ER scheduling is a plus.
