Job Description:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and directing all daily employee activities in our food manufacturing facility. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing the smooth running of all aspects of production ensuring high quality food products are produced in accordance with all operating standards. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Ensuring and maintaining a high level of sanitation, food safety, and safe working environment
• Reviewing daily production schedules and ensuring that staff and equipment are set-up and prepared to meet production requirements
• Proactively managing, coaching, and developing employee performance
• Ensuring the approved level of staffing per production requirement is utilized, including planning and approval of vacation requests
• Reviewing hourly timesheets and approving hours for all permanent and temporary employees

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates generally from 4:00p to 12:00a Monday through Friday. Hours expand to include every other Saturday during the busy season, approximately 8 months of the year.

About You:

You'll fit right in if you have:

• College degree preferred
• Previous supervisory or management experience in the food industry
• Self-motivation with strong organizational, multitasking, analytical thinking, problem solving and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• Computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
