What is my role type? In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We've introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

This is a 7th shift position: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various cleaning, monitoring and securing operations to assist in the set-up of a rotary atomization furnace.
- Work from verbal and written instructions to perform repetitive tasks before and after the and when required during the atomization process.
- Assist in preparing raw material charges, running the furnace control board, making minor repairs on the furnace, atomization chamber, and other auxiliary equipment, cleaning the atomization chamber, carry out housekeeping duties.
- Assist in the removal and replacement of coils and cleaning the interior of the furnace chamber.
- Clean raw material charge and transport to charge area. As directed assist in the attachment and detachment of gas, electric, and water lines to furnace. Clean inside of crucibles, patch cracks and performs other repair tasks of crucible prior to next run.
- May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skills
- Adhere to ACE guidelines and perform ACE duties as required
- Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- US Citizen due to government contracts
