Position Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Job Coach/Employment Specialist to join our Supported Employment program. In this role, you will assist members in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment opportunities consistent with their vocational goals. You will establish trusting relationships, provide benefit information, conduct job development activities, and offer ongoing support to ensure member success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage members and establish collaborative relationships aimed at securing competitive employment.
- Provide benefit information and assist members in making informed decisions about employment opportunities.
- Conduct job development and job search activities tailored to individual member interests.
- Offer ongoing support to members to maintain employment, including writing job support plans and negotiating job accommodations with employers.
- Participate in face-to-face meetings with vocational rehabilitation counselors to coordinate services for members.
- Provide supported education for members interested in advancing their employment goals.
- Maintain open availability to accommodate member schedules, spending 65% or more of scheduled work hours in the community.

Education and Certifications:
- High School graduation or equivalent (required), Associates Degree (preferred).
- Valid Regular Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Safety Care certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Certified Employment Support Professional credential (CESP) (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Full-Time $21-$24 Per Hour non-exempt
