Job Description
This is a part-time position Monday – Friday scheduled to work the hours of 6:30am to 9:30am. The pay range is $12 - $13 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at our center located in Orlando - Orange County.

The Support Staff & Floater Teacher plays a meaningful role in turning children's goals into reality and helping the center become the best it can be. You'll have the opportunity to utilize your natural interpersonal and administration skills while bringing an enthusiastic energy to the facility. The Support Specialist works directly with the Director to help with various administrative duties while assisting in the Infants classroom as a Floater Teacher you develop a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children.
What You’ll Do:
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Timely opening of the Preschool Center to greet parents and children.
- Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with the center’s vision and state and local requirements.
- Following the center’s policy to check in and/or check out students to parents and guardians.
- Maintain student records in accordance with established enrollment procedures and guidelines.
- Responsible for the supervision of children and management of a well-ordered classroom environment that ensures safety, cleanliness, and wellbeing.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and school functions.
- Assist in providing an appropriate educational atmosphere that creates a positive learning experience, encourages student participation, and promotes the development of positive self-esteem and confidence.
- Encourage children to develop a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring and self-regulation.
- Encourage independent feeding and self-help skills.
- Provide a well-balanced schedule of activities including learning, playing, diapering, eating, and napping.
What We Need From You:
- High school Diploma or degree in Early Education or elated field of study required.
- FL DCF 45 hours required with CPR & First Aid
- Willingness to obtain the above credentials; Must start 2 courses within a week of hire.

- CDA Preferably
- Must clear full level II DCF background check.
- At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education
