Our Support Services Associate (PART TIME) will be assisting CP’s administrative departments/team with the following administrative, organizational, support-oriented tasks:
- reviewing documents, determining pertinent information, entering the details into LBS using specified naming conventions; attention to detail is critical
- uploading documents sent via email to LBS (our proprietary financial planning database/web based tool)
- processing new submissions as they are received-- folder creation, filing, record keeping
- reviewing emails and handling those which have been assigned/tagged
- answer emails/phone calls
- make travel arrangements
- schedule appointments
- scan paper files to digital

- Enter client notes in CRM
- Webinar/Seminar Assistance
- Social media
- Project management for events
- Client Segmentation
- Prepare presentations (PowerPoint, Adobe)
- Client meeting prep

- Promotion of advisor/CP
- Paperwork prep
- Service request
- Cold call
- Other administrative, data entry, operational tasks, and training as assigned
Schedule:
- Anticipated hours: Part time, about 15-20 hrs. per week, depending on workload
- Weekly schedule: TBD (determined primarily by you and the tasks you choose)
- tasks available will be posted via a shared email system
- Duration of assignment: temporary assignment
- Work location: remote, based in Charlotte
- desk space available in the Charlotte office if desired
Preferred Skills / Experience:
- College degree preferred
- 2+ years administrative/office experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized
- Experience with/comfort using: Ability to pick up/learn quickly with minimal training new systems/platforms (LBS, Smart Office, and others); data bases; MS Office Suite, Including (required): Outlook, Excel, Word and (ideally) Planner, PowerPoint
- Financial services experience highly desirable
- Upbeat and positive people-person with a professional and warm demeanor
- Self-directed and able to work independently with limited supervision
We will train all 5 departments, including the platforms/programs used. They all require a similar skillset, and some of platforms/programs overlap. We assume working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
We will provide a laptop to use for this work.
