Support Partner (Dsp)

Values Into Action provides individualized support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to help people design and live their best lives, and be active members within their communities.

As a Support Partner (DSP) you will be providing direct support in partnership with people with disabilities, on a one-to-one basis, in their own homes and communities. Services include that of community involvement and/or accommodation with activities of daily living including personal care, communication, transportation and recreation.

A kind and humorous woman is in need of physical support when in the home and community. She is seeking a kind and caring person who can provide supervision and assistance with hygiene needs; shopping, food preparation, cooking; light housework and laundry; community inclusion; assistance with staying connected with family; assistance with maintaining routine and schedule.

Are YOU: Flexible and patient, physically active, social and outgoing, a good listener, outgoing, and intuitive? This person enjoys bowling/physical fitness; social/community events; nature, walking, and walking trails.

SCHEDULE

Tuesday 10p - 10a (overnight)

Friday 10p - 10a (overnight)

Saturday 10a-Sunday 10a

Hours and Pay:

$13.00/hour for asleep overnight services

$19.00/hour for in-home and community support services

● All employees have access to employee assistance programs

Qualifications:

● A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience supporting people to live in the community

● Possession of a valid driver's license with a safe driving record

● Access to a reliable vehicle, proof of current vehicle registration, inspection, and insurance

● 18 years of age or older

● Be or willing to be Covid-19 Vaccinated prior to employment
