Are you experienced talent sourcing professional who would love to make the leap into the world veterinary medicine? Do you enjoy the art of personalizing outreach; implementing multiple sourcing strategies; performing A/B testing; and utilizing people search tools to find a unicorn candidate?
We are seeking an experiencedSourcing Strategistto who enjoys the thrill of the hunt and building excitement around roles. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong command of the English language. Candidates with a background in healthcare recruiting preferred, although all backgrounds will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify passive veterinarian talent by sourcing resume databases, directories, practice websites, social media profiles, and testing extensive name generation techniques.
- Generate a pipeline of interested candidates via targeted email campaigns to both passive candidates and prior applicants. Introduce leads to the Recruiter in a timely manner and with a seamless handoff (with a focus on candidate experience).
- Partner with Recruiters to understand the requirements of each requisition, progress with current candidates, and feedback from hiring managers, while incorporating feedback into future searches.
- Work with the Recruiters to develop detail-rich, appealing sourcing material.
- Contribute to the maintenance, accuracy, and growth of the candidate database/CRM. This may include bulk (CSV) upload of leads from recruiting events and job fairs.
- Act as a liaison to hiring managers for all ATS inquiries, including requisition and offer approvals.
- Accurately track source of hire, as well as other key sourcing metrics.
- Provide market intelligence, industry trends and research with Recruiting Team.
- Work with our Recruiting Team to continuously evolve our capabilities and identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, quality of work, and lead conversion rate.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience sourcing professionals via social sites and resume databases.
- Prior experience sourcing healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses) preferred. Veterinary experience is a plus!
- Prior experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Experience with Lever a plus!
- Experience maintaining a high volume of sensitive information and building scalable structure around data.
- Experience working independently with little direction; able to work in ambiguous environments and comfortable with the unknown.
- Strong communication skills (especially written) with a focus on proper grammar and spelling.
- Ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and create innovative and creative digital copy for sourcing campaigns, while maintaining the company’s brand and tone in all communications.
- Ability to handle rejection in a highly competitive labor market.
- Ability to pivot focus and priorities based upon the ever-changing needs of our veterinary practices.
- Ability to travel on a limited basis (up to 10%).
