The Supply Technician shall provide supply management services to include inventory management, storage management, cataloging, lifecycle management, issue, receipt in support of the PFPA contract.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing technical supply management work related to depot, warehouse, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, or open areas for the FALD Directorate.
- Advise the Chief of Facilities on all police booth, property management, and supply-related inventories; be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and coordination of the Pentagon booth program.
- Assist, and provide support and assistance in the areas of logistics, such as warehouse organization, work order management, agency deliveries, and schedules.
- Receive, store, issue, and distribute equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, and compile stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
- Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Perform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan. Work involves verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents.
- Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages, route materials to prescribed storage location; store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribes storage methods, rearrange and conduct physical inventory of stored materials, examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage, remove material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
- Assist with automating manual accountability processes to include identifying item descriptions, cataloging data entry, processing inventory documents, perform maintenance and administrative adjustment transactions in an automated database, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- Maintain a variety of inventory and other records (stored both manually and electronically). Files and work-related documents shall be stored on the shared drive.
- Provide program or property management support including administrative and scheduling responsibilities.
- Provide program support including property management, requirements reporting, tracking, and have experience in computer-based documentation.
- Operate hand or power trucks and motor vehicles in performing warehouse duties to include delivering equipment, materials, and other supplies.
- Ensure warehouse furniture & equipment database information is updated daily so the Chief of Logistics can make key decisions concerning office and remodel projects
- Responsible for the turn-in of excess furniture & equipment and responsible for tracking and inventorying items at four storage locations
- Responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and coordination of the Pentagon booth program as it would affect our police officer morale and welfare
- Responsible for keeping two warehouse's inventories of furniture and equipment organized.
- Responsible for maintaining and managing booth supplies, property accountability, booth facilities upkeep, acquisition of supply items, receiving and delivering small supply items, storage of, and disposal of, excess equipment and furniture
- Maintaining voucher registers and files to support property and vehicle monthly mileage records.
- Compile data to assist in formal property turn-in through the use of the Defense Property Accountability System; perform 100 percent physical verification of furniture and equipment assigned to Pentagon Force Protection Agency booth and facilities; maintain file listing of excess property.
- Assist with the scheduling of maintenance of government vehicles which includes coordinating with vendors for various services; be responsible for directing property inventories and preparing equipment turn-in with our property office.
- Responsible to perform small office moves which include pick up and drop off packing boxes within PFPA Agency offices
- Inventory the various types of keys/cores used on different furniture, at moments notification, able to assist customers with lockouts, can change out lost keys on lateral cabinets, overheads, and key boxes.
- Responsible to conduct monthly and mid-month inventory of all Pentagon Police Booths and secured Pentagon Posts
- Conduct quarterly site surveys to establish office requirements for existing and future space requirements for the Agency
- Serve as security escort to contract vendors to accomplish office installs and de-installations;
- Responsible to perform safety inspections of all Pentagon booths and interior posts, reports any deficiencies to the Facility Lead to correct, and corrects any items on the spot when appropriate
- Prepare and submit the Weekly Significant Activity Report (SAR) summarizing all relevant information and significant projects in the directorate as directed.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possess a Secret Security Clearance.
- Possess and continuously maintain a valid state driver’s license and comply with PFPA policies and all federal, state, and local driving laws.
- Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Training Certification preferred.
- Forklift certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines;
- Knowledge of documentation administration, technical writing, and operational evaluation testing.
- Ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Department of Defense (DOD) laws, regulations, concepts, principles, practices, and instructions applicable to fleet and property management.
- Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.
- Experience in office automation tool, automated supply or logistics information system, and Office programs as well as spreadsheets, presentations, and database applications.
- Experience in property management.
- Experience in performing aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, lifecycle management, issue, receipt, etc.)
