Mail & Courier Supply Technician

Amentum is seeking a Mail & Courier Supply Technician in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Technician performs work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. Carriers may be required to load and unload trays and containers of mail and parcels weighing as much as 70 pounds. The Technician will need strong organizational skills and experience working in a fast-paced, warehouse environment.
Job Requirements:

• Provide mail processing, newspaper delivery and courier services. This support shall include, but not limited to:
• Receiving, packaging, transporting and delivering courier mail to local locations.
• Transporting courier mail to offsite locations on a biweekly courier route.
• Packaging courier mail items at the warehouse and arranging for delivery to various locations.
• Procuring newspapers from vendor to be delivered.
• Sorting incoming and outgoing mail.
• Obtain receipts for all deliveries and maintain a delivery log as required.
• Assist the base support team as needed.
• Other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License
• US or Naturalized Citizen
• Must have a government issued clearance at time of application
• CDL preferred but not required
