Summary
About the Position: This Supply Systems Analyst is located in the System Support and Development Division at CECOM, on Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
This position is subject to the CECOM control point Business Rules. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than GS-13 Step 5 or $126,949.

Duties
  • Maintains fully operational system applications, systems, logic, and tools to support functional business areas.
  • Identifies and defines system requirements to support business processes.
  • Provides analysis and reports on system use and training to management officials.
  • Provides technical system support in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and approved dashboard tools to ensure the full capability of supply chain functions.
  • Leverages ERP and supporting applications to generate supply chain visibility for respective areas.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While on probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: Experience understanding and applying a broad range of supply program knowledge to include: 1) utilizing the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to conduct sales order processing; 2) Extensive knowledge of the Supply Chain Planning (SCP) business processes and execution within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP); 3) Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning (SCP) and Sourcing and Distribution policies/ regulations; and 4) resolving LMP systemic issues affecting the AMC enterprise.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).

How You Will Be Evaluated
