THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - Title 5, Position Description Number T5782000 and is part of the WI MATES, Wisconsin National Guard.
This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority for Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)"Qualifications: GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-2003-11 level, you must have a minimum of 36 months of experience or documented training in the following areas: Supervision, System Applications and Products (SAP) based program with an emphasis in warehousing and maintenance, operating in a Supply Support Activity or warehouse, performing inventories and location surveys, and working with maintenance work orders. Additionally, candidates should also have experience the following areas: The ability to perform research in regulatory documents, ability to prepare for inspections, and experience in records management.Education:
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements.
