Job Description:
As a Supply Chain/Procurement Intern, you will have a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Supply Chain and procurement within the Corrugating and Paper Sheeting industry. This role provides exposure to various aspects of Supply Chain management, including procurement activities, supplier relationship development, data analysis, and project support. Our goal is to give you a comprehensive understanding of how Supply Chain and procurement principles are applied in our industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Support BWP Supply Chain Teams:
- Assist in various Supply Chain activities, including procurement, contracts, pricing, and e-procurement.
- Attend and contribute to supplier meetings.
- Help manage obsolescence and parts delivery.
- Support procurement of OEM equipment.
Support Engineering Development Projects:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering development projects.
- Enhance supplier relationships and gather specific data files.
- Participate in quoting activities for projects.
- Investigate projects across multiple BW business systems.
Analytical Skills:
- Utilize excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in various procurement areas to support BW Papersystems.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, working towards a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business with a background in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of coursework completed in Supply Chain Management, Business with a focus on Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple project responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with leaders, clients, and vendors.
- Flexibility and adaptability in completing various tasks.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of our Supply Chain teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
