Summary :
The Manager, Supply Chain, Sourcing & Procurement oversees the areas of procurement, product selection, product conversion, and implementation. Manages and administers policies and procedures that are related to vendor management, contract compliance, sourcing, and Procurement. Develops partnerships with key vendors, manufacturers, and group purchasing organizations to improve quality and efficiency of the department. Places emphasis on employee engagement, process improvement, patient satisfaction, and workplace safety. Serves as a resource and facilitates collaboration between team members and other healthcare disciplines throughout ThedaCare.Job Description:
Key Accountabilities:
Effectively manages team members in a manner consistent with ThedaCare policies and values. Ensures the recruitment and retention of competent team members to meet the needs of the business operations of the department. Is accountable for daily activities and work processes that result in quality outcomes. Oversees and ensures accuracy of time and attendance and payroll practices. Leads, facilitates, and executes projects to improve the ordering process, tracking, and valuation using cost analysis. Ensures integration of the Supply Chain MMIS system with distributors, vendors, and hospital and clinic departments. Considers quality, price, reliability, technical support, and availability when choosing products and suppliers. Manages the process of efficient delivery of all supplies, minor equipment, and capital. Meets deadlines. Hires, transfers, directs, and manages performance of team members. Develops performance expectations, coaches, evaluates, and motivates team members. Ensures appropriate staffing to accommodate needs of our customers. Makes quality focused recommendations relative to operational leadership teams and clinical requirements. Develops partnerships with key vendors, manufacturers, and group purchasing organizations to improve quality and efficiency of the department. Serves as a liaison between departments communicating with clinicians and department team members regarding discrepancies, recalls, and Supply Chain related issues.
