Otter Products is hiring for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our amazing Supply Chain team in Fort Collins, CO!
As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will manage inventory on new and existing products at component and finished goods levels to achieve on time delivery to our customer's requests: all while striving towards inventory goals. Your role will help create new processes to advance supply planning capabilities and make a lasting impact on the company. - Manage supply to achieve on-time delivery to our customer's requests while achieving inventory goals
- Lead cross functional teams (Procurement, Production, Engineering, Sales Operations, Portfolio Managers, and Program Managers) to launch new products and resolve issues, support product demand and meet objectives
- Provide accurate commit dates to customer requests based on supply positions
- Create and align manufacturing orders that convert bulk components into finished goods skus based on a continual changing supply and demand information
- Monitor product demand to set appropriate stock levels, minimize order quantities and manufacturing orders
- Work within our ERP system to maintain critical master data, planning parameters and transactional data to maintain system accuracy
- Manage inventory through the product lifecycle from launch to the appropriate disposition of stock
- Contribute to the creation of new processes and/or lead projects to advance supply planning capabilities for the company
- Run reports from our Business Systems Software (Infor/M3)
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
- Minimum of three years of experience in Supply Chain or operations required
- Experience with supply planning preferred
- APICS Certification or other Supply Chain accreditations preferred
- Experience with ERP system and Excel preferred
