Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Senior PrincipalSupply Chain Subcontract Specialist (Level 4) to join our team in Aurora, CO. This position may telework up to 2 days per week.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Works with Northrop Grumman's Global Supply Chain to procure specialized goods and services in support of a portfolio of high profile programs
• Facilitates subcontractor vetting and approval
• Collaborates with key Northrop Grumman stakeholders, including, but not limited to, engineering, quality assurance, business management and program managers to finalize statements of work and material/product specifications to clearly define requirements and to develop an appropriate subcontracting strategy
• Writes and awards subcontracts (if within delegated procurement authority) or obtains necessary approvals for subcontract award (if outside of delegated procurement authority)
• Subcontract pre-award activities including, but not limited to, preparation of requests for proposals, analysis of proposals and negotiation of subcontract provisions, terms, and conditions
• Subcontract post-award activities including, but not limited to, subcontract administration, change notices, validation and payment of invoices and subcontract closeout
• Executes subcontractor non-disclosure agreements
• Ensures compliance with public laws, company policies, import/export regulations and prime contract flow-down clauses
• Monitors supplier quality, reliability, and ability to support required delivery schedule
• Assists in material receipt and property management documentation
• Engages in continuous process improvement to achieve overall efficiency and success of supported programs
• Employs sound business practices and enforces procurement integrity
• Identifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk
• Periodically conducts training on a variety of professional topics for groups of 5-10 employees

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant contracting/subcontracting experience; 8 years with a Master's Degree
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
• Current TS/SCI security clearance, or ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP business management software (specifically, the ability to generate and award purchase orders in SAP)
• Experience working with the U.S. government and/or U.S. military, as these entities are the primary customers associated with this position

Salary Range: $104,900.00 - $157,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
