Supply Chain Specialist

Major organization is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Correspond with China & Thailand office, shipping issue, late delivery, problems with BOMs and incorrect information and price issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their supply needs and requirements
• Update BOM changes; load / update forecasts
• Review Intervention reports and Inventory Reduction reports
• Create purchase orders for Design Department, Soloro personalization request and sample orders and for NJ packing and shipping supplies.
• Order tickets
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
• Release work from MRP –forecasts, outside processing, buy, packaging, stone

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement, Supply Chain management, or a similar role
• Intermediate Excel; Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and techniques
• Proficient in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Familiarity with production planning processes and techniques
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong supplier relationships
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and strategically
