Description
CRS Temporary Housing is a leader in our industry providing temporary housing solutions to individuals who are displaced from their home due to loss. Working with insurance companies and the policy holders, we provide a variety of solutions to make this difficult time easier.
Our office is located near Metro Center in Phoenix, AZ and new employees will complete in office training for approximately 3 - 5 weeks. Then this full-time position will be a hybrid setup so there will be the ability to work from home and in the office. There will also be other required office visits for training and/or meetings.
Computer and phone equipment will be provided. You must have reliable high-speed internet service and a suitable workspace at your residence.
The Supply Chain Specialist utilizes creativity, resourcefulness, and ingenuity to support the Director of Supply Chain through research, data analysis, process management, limited-scope projects, and sourcing activities. This role also provides key assistance and coordination to procurement programs and initiatives as well as supplier management activities.
This position is a hybrid role and will be required to work in the office part of the time, with some remote work opportunities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key suppliers.
- Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive Supply Chain strategy.
- Assists with compiling and analyzing data to determine the feasibility of buying as well as establish price objectives for contract transactions.
- Focus on streamlining and continual improvement to current processes within scope of practice.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support Training and overseeing other employees as requested.
- Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
- Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications

- Solid verbal and written communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff, and/or outside contacts.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, business, or similar field required.
- One year of more Supply Chain management experience preferred.
- Experience with various supplier discount structures.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management software (such as Salesforce) preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk (or standing) and working on a computer and phone headset.
