Job Description
Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Manager responsible for developing and managing the Supply Chain strategy and initiatives for the Global Procurement Office. He/she will also support Sourcing to execute operational tasks and manage the Supply Chain for infrastructure hardware and IT hardware. Additionally, this person will support international customs brokerage activities, which includes getting documentation needed to get goods past customs and working with cross functional teams. He/she will operate at ALL levels of the organization and move seamlessly from tactical to strategic. Additionally, this person must have a keen eye for detail and be able to navigate through the unique customs requirements internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director of Enablement to build out the Supply Chain role
- Support GPO's Supply Chain strategy and initiatives
- Support Sourcing teams in managing the Supply Chain of infrastructure and IT hardware
- Help process documentation needed for international customs brokerage documentation, including routing customs related documentation for approvals and signature
- Partner with legal, business stakeholder and sourcing to help resolve shipment and Supply Chain escalations
- Oversee purchasing for the Infrastructure Production Engineering (IPE) team and ensure there is alignment with procurement, finance, and infrastructure planning.
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and Jira tickets
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain role
- Experience in hardware Supply Chain management
- Proficient understanding of international logistics and customs
- Demonstration of critical thinking, problem solving, and a track record of continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex thoughts into simple, actionable recommendations; strong presence in front of senior executives
- Strong organization skills, proactive, result oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deliverables
- Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain is a plus.
