This position is responsible for finite scheduling of multiple resources at Hebron, OH and interfaces with the operations team for improved schedule execution. Effectively engages Product Management, Quality, Procurement, and other Scheduling team members. High proficiency in ERP(SAP)- Materials Requirement Planning and Capacity Requirement Planning is needed to use ERP system optimally and avoid need to create offline tools. Key deliverable is improved OTIF (On time in Full) service with least inventory levels. Quick responses to efficiently react to day-to-day changes and challenges with supply and demand is vital to succeed in this role.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for the short term (1-14 days) manufacturing schedule and the intermediate production plan (2-10 weeks),
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to address meeting customer orders
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use SAP (ERP) System to schedule
- Inventory management of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
- Responsible for setting production schedules that provide the best service to our customers.
- Responsible for fast, clear, and appropriately detailed communication when a problem occurs during the production
- Update production schedules regularly and work closely with shop floor
- Support OTIF (On Time in Full) service performance including accurate coding of missed deliveries. Identifies and works with operations to avoid lates.
- Responsible for the planning of raw materials; evaluating planned orders from MRP and modifying as appropriate
- Responsible to maintain production schedules accurately in SAP, as this drives the calculation of first negotiated delivery dates, and updates product availability on customer orders for Customer Service and the Web Order Center.
- Coordinating with other schedulers to manage internal demand within Hebron and to/from other plants.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7-10 years of scheduling experience
- Scheduling experience of 3-5 years may be acceptable on case-by-case basis for graduates of Supply Chain/Engineering/Business
- Demonstrated understanding/experience of complex scheduling systems, inventory management, forecasting, and capacity planning practices in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for scheduling and capacity management
- Proven ability to influence teams regarding planning, capacity, and material availability
- Adaptable and flexible mindset with the ability to positively react to changes impacting planning and scheduling functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook. Strong written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.

- Ability to promote a mindset of continuous improvement, problem solving, and prevention.
- Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS)
- 2+Years of SAP experience (including implementation involvement)
