SUMMARY : Role applies practical Supply Chain knowledge to identify, analyze, and solve problems within a single value stream. Implements and supports continuous improvement and business process changes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in Supply Chain projects within the value stream with consideration to the entire Supply Chain (plan, source, make, deliver)
• Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making
• Optimize supply planning parameters that align with business requirements for service and inventory, including coordination of services and material to match production demands
• Identifies Supply Chain problem areas and drives improvement in service, reduce cost, and increase inventory turns, utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping, and A3 thinking
• Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups, and material planners

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred and 3-5 years of Supply Chain Production planning experience.
• Working knowledge of relevant Supply Chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, data mining, and data reporting
• Engages with others in a way that can be developed into an ongoing working relationship
• Seeks to understand customer needs in detail and works to satisfy them
• Willingly accepts assignments that will expand capabilities
• Seeks opportunities to learn from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization
• Manufacturing Production Planning experience is required

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem-solving and continuous improvement, including pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, and waste elimination
• Experience with high-volume production planning across multiple manufacturing assembly lines

SALARY INFORMATION:

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
