The Supply Chain Planner is located in Morris Plains, NJ and will be responsible for managing the creation, communication and execution of the end-to-end plan for the shipping, test, make, and release, aspect of the value stream to drive Customer Service Level improvement. This includes daily batch allocations, and priorities across the value stream.
Sunday-Thursday shift hours 8AM-4:30PM
• Establish and optimize a planning process for key value stream functions supporting, QA, QC, and warehouse to ensure visibility to the plan, communication of priorities and awareness of all batches manufactured at the plant.
• Identify and lead projects to reduce throughput time and costs across value stream
• Support development and implementation of CMO processes and governance
• Coordinates dispatch of batches across the value stream including incoming material, QC Testing and Final Product pack & ship schedule
• Facilitates the establishment of new processes to ensure smooth execution of Make/Test/Release
• Drive accountability and awareness of teams missing their targets to ensure tracking of root causes and development of improvement plans.
• Aligns with Cells in Motion team and Value Stream manager to ensure proper prioritization of patient batches is planned and communicated.
• This position will be expected to work shifts which include weekend day in Morris Plains, NJ (for cause work may be required off hours in the mornings, evenings, and weekends).
Role Requirements
BS/BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business or Scientific dicipline or related field with 3+ years' of business experience in Supply Chain and/or production planning is required; experience in IT Systems preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with visibility to the product through Make/Test/Release functions and planning experience in a pharmaceutical operations environment
• Previous experience in driving Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement Initiatives
• Experience in utilizing data to identify trends and present information, using visualization tools such as, PowerBi, SharePoint, Excel
• Experience working in a GMP environment with strong sense for internal relationship building and stakeholder management.
• Ability to delegate tasks without authority and handle conflict and competing interests/productivity while maintaining excellent customer service
• ASCM Certifications and knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERPs systems a plus
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $88,000 and $132,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
