Position Summary: This position will offer students the opportunity to build on knowledge obtained from their coursework and apply it to a real-world of warehouse setting. Interns will be exposed to the daily operations of a warehouse as well as learning the ins and outs of our daily routines and procedures.
What you'll do:
- During the internship, you will assist with answering phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information; oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers.
- Shadow multiple departments and train in a variety of warehouse activities and related tasks.
- Perform administrative duties, take memos, maintain files, maintain calendars, and organize documents. as needed
- Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
- Manage databases and input information, data, and records
- Research and gather documentation on company position in the industry
About you:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program in Junior or Senior year
- Seeking an Associates or a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business Administration or Management.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Applicants must be located in New Jersey.
- Strong computer skills overall including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Tolerant of different range of work environment conditions.
