Job Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst reports into the Supply Chain organization and is responsible for managing the Supply Chain Governance process. This role will work across all categories, suppliers and systems and manage the off-shore procurement team performance to ensure successful delivery of Supply Chain priorities and goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Advisor to Category Management, Procurement Support and business partners on Supply Chain best practices
- Build business partnerships and relationships with off-shore procurement support, Category Management and business stakeholders
- Own the ongoing administration of Supply Chain governance and strategy execution
- Monitor initiatives to ensure streamline Supply Chain process efficiencies, communication, training and continuous improvement, on time delivery and communication of risks
- Collect, integrate and analyze required information quickly and efficiently, ensuring the accuracy of data in support of efficient procurement execution and root cause analysis
- Develop reporting, material creation, and other needs for leadership report-outs
- Project manage asks from cross-functional stakeholders from beginning to end, clearly communicating progress and roadblocks
- Catalog Management
- Identify goods and services that would be candidates for use in a catalog, socialize with stakeholders and oversee implementation
- Provide claims and dispute management working with appropriate stakeholders to gather necessary information and guide process
- Develop, own and conduct Buyer and End User Training Track and monitor resolution of SC process and systems issues and project management of continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and report on Contract Management, Service Delivery innovation and SLA compliance for offshore team
- Provide claims and dispute management working with appropriate stakeholders to gather necessary information and guide processes
Required Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Supply Chain/Procurement) or minimum two years experience in Supply Chain, procurement and/or strategic buying
- Strong analytical expertise, with the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to effectively prioritize while frequently multi-tasking
Preferred Qualifications for Position
- Utility Industry experience
