EJ has an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Analyst.

Location:  This position reports to the Corporate Office in East Jordan, Michigan.

 

SUMMARY

Assists in Supply Chain operations to ensure effective and appropriate use of inventory.  Will also work on improving M3 usability and efficiencies for users in the company.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Manages movement of inventory from Distribution Centers to multiple sales branches.
  • Work as liaison between manufacturing, sourcing, and sales to optimize EJ’s Supply Chain.
  • Manages system exceptions for items to ensure timely delivery of product to yards and customers.
  • Coordinates loads/LTLs with logistics to expedite delivery of items when needed.
  • Assists with day-to-day issues and questions with ERP system.
  • Answers questions regarding ERP system from all departments of EJ, including sales, Supply Chain and distribution.
  • Solve issues that arise regarding ERP processes. Work with IT to fix issues.
  • Addresses problems with customer facing and internal documents (order confirmations, picking lists, delivery tickets etc.) and works with appropriate IT personnel to resolve issues.
  • Addresses process issues in ERP system to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of EJ’s Supply Chain.
  • Develop and/or update user work instructions to show changes in processes and communicate update to users. May include training of appropriate personnel of process changes.
  • Develop personalization’s that improve system navigation and usability. Once developed work through CAB processes to get approved and applied ERP system.
  • Utilize BI software, and work cross-functionally, to develop and track KPIs within EJ’s Supply Chain to identify areas in need of improvement, drive efficiencies, and improve EJ’s customer service.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
