Supply Chain Operations Analyst

The Shoulder Innovations leadership team has more than a century of cumulative experience in orthopedics and has designed and developed a significant portion of the shoulder replacement implants on the market today. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial spirited individual to join our team and help us achieve rapid growth!

We are currently looking for a Supply ChainOperations Analyst to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is an independent thinker, creative, and has a customer service/do what it takes mindset. As a Supply ChainOperations Analyst you’ll learn the med tech industry from the ground up. You’ll work with and learn from industry veterans who will teach you about every aspect of the Shoulder Innovations business. 

As our Supply ChainOperations Analyst, your responsibilities with include, but are not limited to the following:

• Learning the Orthopedics industry, how it operates and how to make it more efficient and effective
• Ensuring Shoulder Innovations is able to support its customers and distribution partners on-time, every-time.
• ERP subject matter expert in all distribution modules
• Review upcoming customer surgery schedules and identifying potential conflicts
• Inventory level assessments – monitoring levels on a weekly basis to insure appropriate inventory availability
• Managing inventory life-cycle to minimize product expiration issues
• Review and assessment of surgical instrumentation prior to distribution
• Assembling products into surgical kits
• Monthly inventory count/cycle count
• Ensure all items in the warehouse are in compliance with the quality management system
• Partnering with leadership on key Supply Chain and customer service initiatives
• Analyzing inventory data for effective decision making
• Provide recommendations to management, and sales leaders
• Initiate changes regarding Supply Chain policies and procedures
• Investigate issues within the ERP system and execute necessary improvements towards better business performance, which centers on exceeding customer expectations

We believe to be successful as a Supply ChainOperations Analyst, you will have the following:

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to see the larger picture
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team
• Must be organized and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
• Must be able to work under pressure and accurately execute time-sensitive tasks
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and MRP systems
• Ability to frequently lift 10 – 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
