Supplier Quality Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements:

• BS Degree in related field (Engineering or Technical Field is preferred)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance in a manufacturing setting

• Solid understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 management systems

• Experience with Advanced Quality Planning including familiarity with the AIAG Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plan, FMEAs, PPAPs, MSA and Statistical Process Control (SPC) standards

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with suppliers to resolve problems using Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) tools

• Experience working with corporate and small family-owned suppliers utilizing the appropriate methodologies for RRCA and Continuous Improvement tools

Preferred Skills:

• Six Sigma and/or ASQ Certifications

• Experiences with PPAP

• Familiarity with APQP process

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Methodologies (6 Sigma, Lean Mfg. etc.)

• Ability to read and understand drawing and measurement methodologies (GD&T)

• Experience conducting supplier audits: Quality Management Audit, Process Audit, Product Audit

Responsibilities:

• Work effectively with suppliers to resolve problems using RCCA tools

• Develop/maintain supplier partnerships through use of RRCA and Continuous Improvement tools

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $20.00 to $40.00 per hour
