Job Summary:
Packsize is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement and support Sourcing's supply chain strategy. The Supplier Quality Engineering will ensure materials supplied to Packsize meet quality expectations, while fostering a mutually beneficial supply chain. This position requires high mechanical aptitude, a solid understanding of quality principles, and a continuous improvement mindset. The Supplier Quality Engineer must be highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable holding others accountable. In this role, there will be up to 25% travel to support supplier relationships.
What You’ll Do:
Manage Deviations, Quality Requests, nonconfomance reports, corrective actions, and supplier corrective actions.
Update and monitor suppliers' scores and drive continuous improvement of quality deliverables (questionnaires, audits, inspection data, etc.).
Build relationships with suppliers and lead continuous improvement projects of their quality processes.
Create inspection plans, analyze data from inspections (FAI, in process, external, incoming, etc.), and work with suppliers and R&D to facilitate brining materials into conformance.
Manage supplier documentation such as questionnaires, audits, and certifications.

Job Specific Competencies:
A developing or seasoned professional, with a full understanding of quality principles
3-6 years demonstrated experience in quality or continuous improvement, preferably in a manufacturing setting
