Job Description
- Continuously assesses opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systems.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
- Programming for all production processing needs
- Preparing jobs to be released for production, Familiarity with metal manufacturing preferred.
- Creates product assembly work instructions and manufacturing equipment processing instructions.
- Uses engineering drawings to program machinery for engineered items.
- Troubleshoots problems with failed products, products, or systems.
- Participates in the resolution of quality issues and drive associated improvements.
- Identifies and plans manufacturing assembly and test workflow layout.
- Works with Quality Manager to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OHSA)
- Provides Manufacturing Engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Or 5-10 years manufacturing experience in related field.
- Three to five years of Solidworks or Inventor experience as well as:
- CAD and 2D drafting experience.
- Machine Code experience.
- CNC and Automation experience.
- ISO 9001 experience with process documentation and system audits
- Relevant industry experience in the manufacturing environment.
- SAP job routing and scheduling experience a plus.
