Qualifications:
• 2 Year Associate or Technical Degree
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of JD Edwards and MS office proficiency
• Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data
• Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
Under the direction Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate the daily warehouse activities. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all operations of the warehouse including stocking, distribution, and inventory management.
Essential Job Duties:

• Provides strategic direction and leadership to the warehouse department to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all product flow within warehouse. This includes ensuring proper staffing, maintaining vendor relationships and maintaining the department’s budget.
• Hires, orients, trains and develops departmental personnel.
• Maintains discipline, resolves problems, determines performance of departmental personnel.
• Conducts, attends, contributes to and participates in regular department meetings.
• Supervises all forklift operators in the stocking and distribution of warehouse goods.
• Supervises the loading of all Minneapolis Home & Office route delivery vehicles.
• Tracks and manages incoming distributor orders, custom label orders, and product sold off route trucks to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
• Inputs all inventory data into JD Edwards, monitors orders and provides weekly reports to Director of Operations.
• Provides weekly forecasting of sales product, including proper product ordering from various plant locations.
• Continually monitors warehouse and personnel practices to guarantee safety for Premium Waters property and personnel.
• Provides training and certification for forklift drivers to insure safe and efficient operation of the warehouse and proper maintenance of forklifts.
• Maintains good housekeeping in all warehouse, loading docks, and parking lot areas.
• Coordinates with HOD Operations Managers on proper order fulfillment of products and supplies.
• Recommends process improvements that will create the most efficiency in warehouse.
• Keeps the Director of Operations informed of progress, issues, problems and successes.
• Ensures compliance with all housekeeping procedures, and all quality and safety regulations.
• Serves as back-up to warehouse personnel in the delivering of product to warehouse department customers as needed.
• Provides open communication with all distributors, including customer service to maintain positive customer relations and retention.
GMP & PPE Required:
While on the production floor in the plant, you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Also follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
